4/18/2023 0 Comments Adware cleaner for macWell I have never use any antivirus, but can you explain how that malware can get to the system without user interaction after it was deleted ? Sure the first time could be user error by installing something else, and that "mac adware cleaner" could be sideloaded, however after removal, it will get installed again by itself without user knowing, so Avast in this case was the only one to "see" the real problem, so we can manually remove those files, because apparently OS X protection wasn't sufficient to block this, to each his own. Macs have sufficient built in protection. They are not needed and can corrupt the MBPs operation. I suggest that Avast or any other AV application NOT be downloaded. You can see the infection blocked by Avast. ![]() ![]() ![]() Also I suggest you to install Free Avast antivirus, beside all the free malware scanners/cleaners, Avast was the only one to find the problem.
